The CMS Library Media Center (LMC) is both an educational AND recreational resource for students and teachers. The LMC is information central for Cromwell Middle School! Our collection contains fiction and nonfiction books as well as audiobooks, magazines, reference materials, and computers for online research and writing.
A little about your LMS: Mrs. Stearns has been a teacher in Cromwell for 27 years. She was a classroom teacher for 14 years teaching at both ECS and Woodside. Mrs. Stearns was Woodside's Teacher of the Year in 2008. She has been a Library Media Specialist for thirteen years. Before coming to Cromwell Middle School in 2014, Mrs. Stearns was the library teacher at Woodside Intermediate School for six years.
The Cromwell Middle School Library Media Center aims to guide, educate and inspire all students to inquire, think critically and gain knowledge. We hope our learners will draw conclusions, make informed decisions, apply knowledge to new situations, and create new knowledge. Our students will use all forms of media to share knowledge and participate ethically and productively as members of our society. CMS students will pursue personal and aesthetic growth.
