"Placing Students First"

Dear Cromwell Public Schools Community,

CPS will be closed effective Monday, March 16th – 27th related to COVID-19. We will reassess the situation before March 27th and make a decision that is in the best interest of our students, staff and community should we need to cancel for a longer period of time. This closure is being treated similar to a closure due to inclement weather; the days missed will be made up later during the school year. April vacation will remain in place. The decision to close schools has been made in collaboration with the Town of Cromwell Health Department.

School will be in session tomorrow, March 13th.  Students will receive directions on how to access instructional materials online in order to provide them with opportunities for learning. We will be requiring students to clean out their lockers in order to ensure a deep cleaning of all areas. Should your child not attend school tomorrow, please contact the school and feel free to pick up your child's belongings before 3:00 p.m.

Further communication will be provided to staff tomorrow.

Please stay healthy!

Sincerely,
